About
I'm Lisa Venegas - a seeker, mound sitter, have endless religious and spiritual curiosity, and would rather walk a dirt trail over a paved road anytime. My hobby for many years has been to learn about different religious and spiritual practices from the present and the past, and to explore churches, temples, cemeteries, old growth forests and historical sites, taking lots of pictures along the way. I'm sharing my journey in the hopes that you'll make day trips or travel plans to see them for yourselves. I hope that learning about the amazing cultures right here in our state will inspire us to grow more connections with one another rather than finding differences. I also want to celebrate the beauty of sacred spaces through architecture and art, as I know this is how many faiths connect with the divine. I always want to find more amazing places and welcome your suggestions! Let's make this a safe forum for us to learn about these places together.
